New Poll Shows Mitsch Bush Up One Point in CO-03
Today, Diane Mitsch Bush’s campaign released an internal poll showing a tied race for Colorado’s 3rd district. In a head to head right out of the gate, Mitsch Bush is up 43-42 against Lauren Boebert. The poll also shows Donald Trump and Joe Biden tied in the district at 48-48.
With a 2:1 favorability rating (31% favorable and 15% unfavorable) and an extreme cash on hand advantage ($200,000 to Boebert’s $10,000), the momentum in this race is with Mitsch Bush.
“This poll confirms what we already knew: people in this district want a pragmatic leader who has worked across the aisle to get things done.” said Diane Mitsch Bush. “Washington is broken, and Lauren Boebert’s unwillingness to compromise and extreme positions will only contribute to the partisan gridlock. We don’t need more of that in Washington.”
National election prognosticators have shifted Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District in Democrats’ favor in light of Scott Tipton’s loss to Lauren Boebert, an extreme candidate who has shown a complete disregard for the safety of Colordans and would work to abolish the Affordable Care Act, which protects more than 300,000 people in the 3rd district with pre-existing conditions.
